Gap  en

Author: michael wood

Oky no one seems to be helping with this product. I have a massive problem you software is not working !!!

When createing a custom web page it is leaving big gaps at the bopttom of the text regions. On my home page it is fine how ever on every other page these is gaps. Some has said that the that is has to do with the size of the page how ever there no "INO WAY TO EDIT THE SIZE"

On your previe wich is taking for ever to load for such a small site it is fine how ever on the web it is not making massive gaps at the bottom of the text.

This is how the site is set up

Page Creation

This is how it looks in you preview window

Preview window

and this is what it looks like when uploaded to the internet

On the net

You can see the massive gaps at the base of the text and it has some thing to do with ajusting the page size and it not working correctly. There is no inforaction about size ajusting or any thing on you site and it starting to get annoying. The same is on fire fox, IE, Chrome ect ect.

Ive found the problem . if the text is too long then you get the gap. I solved it by reducing the ammount of text on the page wich is not realy the answer. It is your software not manging to take lots of wording. Trying doing long lines of text then uplaoding it to a page youll see what happens. On the preview it works how ever on the web site it goes all bad with massive gaps at the bottom of the page. Even if you reduce the margins it looks worse.

BTW you can see the gap here ->http://www.mayhems.co.uk/front1/about-us.htmlat the bottom of the text. ive removed the back ground pics to hide the problem becuase it shows to much. Allso another problem is each page has a diffrent CSS style sheet. You shuld let people have a choise of using 1 style sheet thoughout the whole site if possable.

Hello Michael,

I'm glad you solved your problem. Ralated to the CSS style sheets I can tell you that there's already one single css shared by all the pages and in addition you can set your custom style per page. Moreover if you go in step 1 -> expert tab you can find a section where you can add custom code for the HEAD section shared by all the pages of your site, hope this helps.

Hi there you still have not solved the issue. if you type long text there is a gap. when are you going to fix the problem.

check outhttp://www.mayhems.net/aurora.html the gap is still there. This is a software problem as when you click preview its not there but as soon as you upload it to the server the gap is there.

Hello Michael,

I cannot access to your website (is it online?) and this post was followed by Michele, so I can just confirm what Michele already suggested you.

I confirm you tha tthe text is rendered and managed by the borwser and any browser does it in a different way. Normally this is not a problem if you insert a text but it could be visibile when you insert a long text, moreover if the text is also formatted (bold, color, etc).

To avoid a different behaviour the best way is to add more than one Text Object insted of only a big one. Wink
