Upgrading after hardware computer-crash

How to proceed: upgrading from WebsiteX5 evolution 8 (files on recuperated hard disk as an external drive (the old C-disk), after hardware computer-crash) to WebsiteX5 evolution 9 on my new pc. I'd like to import my settings e.g. FTP settings too?

Hi Paul,
you need to install and regist the WebsiteX5 Evolution 9 on the new pc, without Evolution 8.
The Upgrade from Evolution 8 to Evolution 9 can be install without the previous version.

I had no problem upgrading the software, but the real problem remains: I 'd like to have a hint about the import of the website that I made on the old computer with evolution 8. As mentionned above, I could recuperate the old hard disk and the website is also still online. Many thanks-tante grazie Paul
