Unable to upload web pages at times  en

I am having problems at intervals uploading web pages to my web site.  I have sought advice from the ISP and they have advised me to seek advice from websitex5 to see if others have encountered the same problem.

Websitex5 page titled Website Export to Internet with the login details on it - works fine.  After clicking the Start button, the connection screen normally displays for a second or two whilst it checks for multiple connections (3 in my case) and then goes on to retrieve the time zone.  When there are problems, the Connection screen displays 'Retrieving timezone' and then after a while the message changes to 'Connection error: It is not possible to complete the operation [FTP: Get current directory].'

If I click on the OK button, I get another page Website Export to Internet, with a request to select the folder I want to upload to and commands and responses at the bottom of the screen.  These are:

Command  NOOP

Response 200 NOOP Command successful

Command Type A

Response 200 Type set to A

Command PASV

Response 227 Entering Passive Mode (212,159,9,91,144,182)

Info (in red text) Command attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time or established connection failed b...  The dots are where the rest of the response is not displayed as it is off the screen and I cannot scroll across to display the end of the message.

I managed to upload the pages later that day, but it was very slow.  On the Upload page, I got a lot of Errors in the Status column which went at the end of the upload.  I tried connecting to the site via Cute FTP and everything was fine.

Suggestions will be appreciated.

Hello my friend....

Need your website url plz!!

You seem to be doing everything right and using CuteFTP (I have this)

Don't forget when you are uploading you are using the ISP Connection..... so that could have contributed to it being slow. Regarding to the errors, everything that is uploaded or downloaded is done by "Packets" pockets of information and if the packet is not completed fully it will give an error.

Going a bit deep now and trying to explain as simple as possible..... Anyhow if we can have your website URL to start with that would be something to go on!!
