Hello,

I took a look in your homepage's HTML code and found you have two titles in it : one generated by Websitex5. The other title "Example Books - high-quality used books for children" is located bellow the google-site-verification meta.

Didn't you inserted a content in your HTML meta section ? It could come from this part (part 1 - advanced settings of WSX5).

Let me know please.

Sam

I am sorry it havs been some time that I have responded to your reply. I do not know what you are saying. I would appreciate if you would elucidate your response and revert with an answer and not a question. What do you want me to do to rectify this problem?

Thanks

Hello Babar,

Samuel meant that probably you have inserted some custom code in your website and this is causing the issue. Please check that the custom code you used in your project is clean and works properly. Thank you

Hi,

I have not included any custom codes. I would like to know which Websitex5 file generates the header. This would be helpful to check how this error crept in.

Have yoiu experience this problem before?

Thanks

Hello Babar,

the header is automatically generated by WebsiteX5 based on the fields you filled in inside the software.

The text in the encircled areas is actually the title of your page followed by the the name of your site.

Both encircled area in your screenshot show the same text because firefox shows the title of the pages in these places, the text in the tab shows the dots because of the few space.

If you wish to change the name of your pages you can do it in step 2 -> select a page -> click on page properties button -> enable the checkbox for the page title and change the title.

Hope this helps

Hello,

I attach the screen print of the page showing the page title, which I do not how it was generated. What you stae in your last instructions cannot be complied with as there is no checkbox for the page title as you will see from the screenshot. Also it will be evident from the screenshot that I have only added my website desciption and title. I am not sure how my file name is transposed in the header tab.

Kindly resolve this problem as I seem to be getting nowhere.

Thanks and regards,

Babar Jawaid

Hello Babar,

the field i was talking about is the one named "Extended Page Title" in your screenshot and the page description is set in the field just below.

The text you set in the  "Extended Page Title" field is the title of your page, maybe you're issue is just related with an old version of the page, please try to open the preview of your site inside WebSite X5 keeping the CTRL key of keyboard pressed.

Hope this helps
