Problem With Images On Software.

To whom it may concern, While editing the content on one page of the website I am doing using the Website X5 software, I gave a quick look at the rest of the website just to see had I any spelling mistakes before I uploaded it.... only to find all the images had gone!! This is not the first time this has happened to me. What I want to know is how come the images from the other pages have disappeared...leaving only the link in words... whe I wasn't even working on those pages? And how can I stop it from happenening again? It's very painstaking having to reinstate all the images everytime it happens. Your help would be greatly appreciated, Is mise le meas, Lisa Ni

. . . do you have some kind of *reload*-program running in the back ? Even may be a antivirus or similar.

Well, I have this problem, too so that I do not yet use V9 for a real project. I only use V9 for testing around. I found out that pictures in text paragraphs disappear often and quite suddenly. Looking at the preview or saving the project may cause the pictures to diappear.
I had the same in version 8. I have network storage boxes where the pictures are on. Sometimes (no conclusion found) the programm does not recognise the boxes....
I just downloaded v9 and hoped this would be solved. but not probably.
I have as well the problem with photos appearing on another site and not in a propper order, the most sites are o.k. only with two I have problems. But this is sufficient enough to me. I use version 8. What can I do?

no - it isn´t fixed yet.....
i became the answer that it will be fixed with the next update....
one thing is fixed in my project - after export i have no more "image-file-error"´s, but there are still pics gone...they aren´t show´n anyway - only the showbox works in my project.....

We found that some images, in critical conditions, are not saved correclty. This bug is already fixed and we'll publish a beta-2 for 9.0.1 to let you test it very soon.

I'm using the latest updated version of 9 and still having this problem. Even more worrying is when I export a project (for backing up) and import it into a fresh (empty) folder, all the items are there, but the project has lost some of its links. Pictures that were added to text boxes have usually disappeared and need to be re-attached. Pictures that were added to picture boxes need to be highlighted, click on edit and resaved then they will appear. This is really causing me grief now ...
I have to say the latest update for version 9 did fix the problem for me and I was able to export projects as backups and re-import them on the same Windows XP pc, however, I have just exported all the files to move onto my new server and access them through my new laptop using Windows 7 ... and very randomly, most of the pictures have disappeared. All the files/pictures were imported correctly into the folder but have lost their links to the website ... this is disastrous, though I will try importing the files from my server onto my XP pc to see whether it's a Windows 7 problem.
We found this problem and we will fix it in next release.
