Image Generation error

I get an "Image generation error" when using the picture gallery. Also the desctription for each picture leaves very little room for big descriptions :( About the "image generation error" I experience only problems with big jpg´s, in my case I use 6-7 Mb files (20Mpix) and the error seems to show up at random: Its not allways the biggest pictures causing the error to pop up. I saw the error mentioned in May - any solution yet? I am really looking forward to getting a solution to this annoying problem! I am using latest software with Danish setup.

The way I see it it has something to do with lack of memory.
How do I check how much memory I use for the whole website x9?
Why use a picture that big ? It's not usable for internet viewing and website x5 automaticle makes it smaller. It makes the software also much slower, i usally use a free program to make them maximum 1200 pixels width. Uploading goes also a lot quicker then.
But i agree you should not get an error.
On the start page of x5 you can view your prefences, in that directory you will find your project and the size of that directory gives you an idea of your website. The project file from x5 are there also these should not be counted.
Another option is go to export and export your website to your harddrive (disc). Then you can check the directory you have provided, this gives you an exact size.

Size of directory is 251.000 Kb - 251Mb. I dont know if that is big or what (probably is with my galleries).
"Time for uploading" - as far as I can figure the size of the pictures has allready been adjusted when uploading?
I am a little afraid what happens when I add more to my website - more errors?
Make your pictures smaller, it has no use to make them so big. There are free programs that can do this in batch format (irfanview) . After changing size then use them in x5. I think you will be clear then.

Too much work in changing each and every picture and I will soon meet the problem again as I plan to use many gallieries in the future. Website x9 seems to be the wrong tool to use to make websites, this problem was addressed ½ year ago by another user and nobody has a solution to the problem today. That kind of sucks.

Website X5 that is offcourse ...
Changing the pictures is not much work, irfanview does this in one batch.
I can't speak for the problem youre right it should not be and it should be corrected.
