Hi, I have purchased website x5 which has been a great product and so easy to use, i do not have a problem with the product, but i do have an uploading problem. I do not think that the problem is caused by website x5 as it has uploaded my site perfectly but i am hoping that someone may be able to answer or suggest where the problem is. So..... So far i have purchased a domain and a linux web hosting package which i dont know much about, website x5 has told me that my site has been uploaded but its not apperaing on the web as yet. Would anybody know whats going on?? All help and suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank You Joy

. . . did you deinstall completely the DEMO you used before ?
And did you *kill* the following also ?
%USERPROFILE%\Lokale Einstellungen\Anwendungsdaten\Incomedia
%PROGRAM FILES%\WebSite X5 v9 - Evolution
After that do a reinstall of the full version and register it.
Now it should change from DEMO to v9 . . .

%USERPROFILE%\Lokale Einstellungen\Anwendungsdaten\Incomedia
%PROGRAM FILES%\WebSite X5 v9 - Evolution
i dunno what this is either i am a complete novice when it comes to this. sorry!
Your domain must be and only bewww.sitename
your upload path must be /public_html (if you dont it will upload but not into the area where it will publicly display)
Hope this helps
Joy..... Why ask for information when you don't know what we are talking about?
This website building lark is a massive learning curve and if you have no idea of where to start I suggest doing as much research as possible......
Try the X5 tutorials for the program and to find out more about website creation with video tutorials go to my Cyber Cafe below...
I also do remotes to X5 users computers to give FREE! lessons!! (Read my guestbook)
