I realy don't know why you can't create a blog, it's in the expert section, if you need help there try the help inside x5 (F1 button or help button). If you have done this and still have issues please explain in more detail where the problem is.
What did you do, what is missing ? or not working ?
The template will be different this is depending on the chosen site.
