Yes you can password protect your Blog (I've already done this) Incomedia have got the colours wrong for the login..... But it still works!!

Just put the Login on any page and link it to the Blog!!

Hello Frank,

Thanks for the information. But i still have 1 problem ... When you work with a SiteMap you don't need a login. Just click on Blog and you're in. And when you work with a search box it's also visible!

Correct me if i'm wrong. Laughing

You are quite correct my friend!! Laughing

They are visible..... this where your work-a-rounds come in I'm afraid!!

I don't use Sitemaps and search boxes ha ha I have my own reasons for not using these!! (Very very rare I use these, unless specified by a client)

I have put an example on my personal website for a password protected Blog but like you say if you put a link to it directly you are in.... ugh!!!

What I would suggest is using a sub-directory for your Blog having it seperate from the main website, Then password protecting it with the Welcome page!! Which i've already done for another X5er!!

Hello again, so if i understand everything well ... I have to make a new project with X5 and just add a Blog. And then i add a link from my current project to the welcome page of the new project?

Thank you again.
