Hi everybody! I would like to ask you how to put drop down submenu on a vertical menu. Now the vertical drop down is opening on the right of the main menu in the form of external drop down menu, but I would like to put the drop down menu UNDER the main menu (not to open on the right side of the main menu). I've already read the answer that Simona gave to another person that says: "If you wish to achieve the same result, follow these steps: 1. add the vertical menu option in the template custom settings 2. go into your sitemap: add pages - levels and more pages 3. go into Step 4 Advanced Settings - Drop Down menu - then select ''vertical accordion'' from the menu type drop down menu. 4. Set size and style according to your needs. " When I do this, my whole menu of my website seems even worse... Thank you in advance, Andriani

Hello Andriani,

Can you please post a link to an example to see your dropdown menu or a screenshot?

You can customize the menu changing height, color, background.

Many thanks!

Hello to you too, Claudio!

You can see my website which is www.etherealreflection.com where you' see the drop down supmenu NEXT to the main menu. As I've mentioned before I would like to see it opening UNDER the main menu.

Thank you so much!

Hello Andriani,

Unfortunately the dropdown menu can only open under the link that contains it with the solution that Simona suggested, and not under the whole menu.

You can customize the Dropdown menu in Step 4 completely and make it fit with your project.

Hope this helps!

Hi again Claudio!

Thank you for trying to help me... and thank you for your advice. Though, according to the websites that WebsiteX5 suggusted us to see (and which were built with Website X5 Revoloution 9) I can see that there is an example which was built with Website X5 REvolotion 9 and is exactly as I would love to build mine. The website is http://www.sabine-krieg.de/index.html   and as you can see the drop down menu is UNDER the main menu. So, what can I do?

 Thank you, once more!  :))

Hello Andriani,

You need to create new levels in step 2 where then you add the pages that will appear in the dropdown menu.

The level will be the link in the main menu that opens the dropdown menu.

Please feel free to write back if you need more information.

Dear Claudio!

It seems that (maybe) you haven't seen my webpage. Please, do so because I've already have the new levels (as you will see in the website) and new pages. So... What, it seems that the website www.sabine-krieg.de/index.html has done something else. Can you help me please?

I'm having a very positive feeling that you can definetly help me. Please take your best look.

Best regards,

Andriani

Hello Andriani,

You need to organise the pages like in the picture in attachment and then choose in step 4 "Vertical Accordion Menu" and then it will be visible.

Hope this helps.
