EVO 9 UPGRADE EVO 8 -www.kreds5.dk

Since November 13th, I have not been able to upload page changes etc. to my hosting center, One.com. Despite a couple of support cases they have refused to carry out any investigative work on their side and claim that it is due to virus protection interference (AVG), errors in the Incomedia software, bugs in my own PC etc., etc. I have followed all their recommendations without success, supplied them with endless numbers of web shots and logs, demonstrating that I can log on, perform a handshake, but thereafter the necessary update doesn’t happen – and I get error messages on the Incomedia progress page.

I have also tried with Filezilla and it can upload but the changes don’t pass through.

This morning, I have moved all the current files on the host to an archive file and tried to perform a complete website transfer to the website. Again I got the same response so I have moved the files back.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium fully updated with all patches (Including Incomedia) on an HP 140sc with Intel i7 CPU 860 @2.89GHz with 8,00 GB memory. I would appreciate any recommendations as I am considering uninstalling Website X5 and reinstalling outside C:\Program Files (x86) on my E:\ drive instead as I know MSFT can sometimes exert negative control on some applications.

Thanks in advance for any support.

You must contact with your provider, he can check the folder? Can you files delete on server?
Can you create a subdirectory, then create a subdirectory and check, if you can upload in this directory.

Hello Bruce,

Try to uninstall the program and then install it again. The AVG report is a False Positive. You need to deactivate the antivirus to download it and install it again. Try to use the installer available from your profile in the "Download" section.

Please let me know if this helps.

Thanks for the response above.

Little-key The provider advises that they cannot see anything wrong and that there has been trafiic on their site. This is true since I have been trying several times but the pages I have changed on my PC and which I can see as correct in Preview do not  transmit to the site,. (Since I have been moving files back and forth on the host site by using their File ManageriIt is, in my opinion, easy to say that there has been traffic on the site....) but.. files I have tried to upload have not appeared on the site itself hence the error message appearing after the handshake is made with the site. My upload is obviously not able to upload.

Claudio - I had a clean copy of the WebsiteX5 SW on my PC which I used to reinstall/run repair.

I can consider downloading a fresh copy and then deleting the application completely from my PC before loading a fresh download as you describe above.

Regrads for now.

Hello Bruce,

Try to install the program again and then export the project to disk and try to move this export with filezilla to the server. If it shouldn't work try from another computer and if the issue persists try to use a free webhosting service and check if you can upload on this. If it's possible then it has to do with your hosting provider and they need to fix it.

Please keep me updated!
