For Google's search engine I need to insert a meta tag in my website (header page). I have tried numerous times to use the HTML method, but obviously I do something wrong. I cannot get confirmation by Google. Is it because of a wrong title or keywords of the site? Would be grateful for any hint you can give. Thank you. Enid

thank you. My problem is however the insertion, where exactly, of the meta tag that google generates for me. I have tried the main page (erweitert) and pasted the example of the generted meta tag in the header or before the body. Nothing works, no confirmation by google.
Thank you.

Hello again,
I could resolve one case but with www.rural-vacation.com it will not work. What did I do wrong here? Maybe you can help me again?
Thank you.
Enid
Did you use a different code? Every site needs his own verification code.
