.iwzip .iwprj problem!

I built a website and upon saving it created a .iwzip file. I could open this file and continue working whenever I needed to. I changed the username of my PC, and now all I have is an .iwprj file, which I cant do anything with! Any ideas!?

You could open this file? or imported?
The iwprj is the file to work. This is the project file.

In my project folder I have another folder containing:
Preview Folder
Upload Folder
backup.iwprj
metadata
preview
project.iwprj
I cannot import the 'project.iwprj' file because Website X5 can't see it. Can you give me a step by step guide on how to restore my site please?
I have this same problem with another website I've been working on.

The iwprj cannot be imported because the import function works only with iwzip files.
You can try to copy the folder containing the iwprj in the project folder you can find in the main screen of WebSite X5 under "Preferences" so that the next time you start the program you will find this project in the program.

It doesn't work. Why is this so difficult!? All I want to do is open my website to edit it and I can't. I've never used a piece of software that when you save a project, and try to open it again, it wont let you!
Please please please do an update and sort this problem out, because so many people have this issue, google is full of people unhappy with this.
If I can't get my sites open, then I'm moving to Serif.

what happens when you open the project available in the "Project Selection"? Do you get any message?
You can try to delete the project.iwprj file and then rename the backup.iwprj file into project.wiprj.

Suddely I lost my projects in the Existing Project window, after updating my ev9. It is not possible to search the proper files??????? Please help! The iwprj files does not open??? What is this? NOT good!
....and, I am not able to write the file name in the; "Project file to import" , the program dont read the wiprj file names???
...and THEN, I have to admit I am an idiot! I found everything by coosing the right project folder in the preferences. Probably an alien had tampered with the selection there :)

Diefferent context, same problem: Have created a Homepage with demo-Version. This generates .iwprj . Now I bought a key to HOME version, that demands .iwzip. Whole work ist lost, if there is no solution to this :-(
