How to change file extension from html to php?

In some of my page, i have php code. and if the file extension is html php code is not working..
so, i need to change the file extension to php from html? but how?
i have tried to set file name as "example.php" but software set it as "example.php.html' and that's not working..
so, any help would be highly appreciated..

what does that mean.. ? i have read help file already but didn't found anyting special :( that could solve the issue..

and yes in file name format i set "php" but softwae still save as html :( and thus script not works :(
Hello,
You need go to in step 2 - Sitemap creation - select the page you wantto change the extension and open the "Page Properties". In the Page Properties window open the "Expert" tab and there you can choose wich extension you want to use like you see in the picture in attachment.

for your kind information, i have extactly doen that.. :) but still file extension .. is "html" :(
whatever file type i set there (in the screenshot) you shows.. result file extenion is always html :(
any idea?

i see. i m sorry. now i understand. if i export the proejct (to web/disk) only then it change the file extension to php right? i have noticed that..
i was so confued.. because i have changed my wamp server location to preview folder and each page extenson was html thus not working properly..
but now i have understand :)
