GZIP Compression

I have the gzip compression ticked when I upload my website to the Internet. However, software packages that analyse websites show that gzip not present. Can you help please?

Hello Malcolm,
The option to use the gzip compression also if enabled in the program, if not present as feature of the webspace of the hosting provider will not work. This option in the program will use it if present but if it's not activated from your hosting provider it will not work and it will sue the not compressed export.
