Anybody?
Go to the section "Sitemap Creation", and select the home page. So click in the last icon of the tool bar (Page properties), go to the tab "Advanced" and define the code you want. You may do it the each page of the site!

Hi,
Thanks for your answer but I am not speaking about the Home page but about the introduction page (on which you can see the different language options for example). From the site map, and only regarding this "special page", you can not access the properties. It is grayed... Please help!

HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP ! THANKS !
Hi Vivien!
I'm sorry but your question isn't very clear. Do you mean the Welcome page? Please explain with a screenshot if possible! Thank you!

Hi Samantha,
Yes, I mean the welcome page. The one where you can put the different languages you want to propose on your web site. I want to change the <Head> section of the code because this is the root page of my web site and I am not able to change the title and I can not write the description and keywords I want. Everything I wrote in the "general parameters" (step 1) is not written in the code of the welcome page. Google uses the welcome page's code for his ranking...
Thanks for your help
Hi vivien,
I have passed this on to our WebSite X5 creators, they will try to fix this issue for the next release if possible.
Thank you for pointing it out.

Hi Samantha,
I am really disapointed to see that there is no fix related to this post in the new release. So people using a welcome page on their web site are not able to add any page title, description and keywords for their welcome page. Unfortunately, the welcome page is the root of web sites for search engines. It is the first page you want the people to access. So it means that if you are using WSX5 E9 and you want to create for example a web site in several languages, you have to create a welcome page (so that you add flags) but your web site won't have a good google ranking. It looks to me like a MAJOR ISSUE. Don't you think so? I think that's really a shame.
Dear Vivien,
did you update your program to the version number 1748? We did fix this issue in this update! The welcome page will have exactly the same the keywords/description etc. as the ones added to the Homepage. Please try and let me know!

Dear Samantha,
The last update did not change anything for me. The properties of my welcome page are grayed. Please see my screenshot enclosed. I really hope that you can help me on this matter...
Dear Vivien,
thank you for your screenshot, I now understand. Every kind of ''special page''can not be modified in it's properties. The properties are in step 4, in fact you do not create your welcome page (for example) in step 2 at all, you do it in step 4 and the only thing you can change in the sitemap (step 2) is it's position.
It is not an error, it's part of the program's settings.

Samantha, I already noticed this and that's why I created this post. I can not change the keywords or description of my welcome page because the properties of step 2 are grayed (and I also can't change this kind of properties in step 4) So, my welcome page which is, as a matter of fact, my root page for search engines can not be efficient and people can not find my welcome page easaily using keywords.. Google do not display any page description ... And that's a big problem because I bought your software to create a page in 4 languages. Using different languages means (using your software)creating a welcome page so that 4 flags can be displayed. I know understand that I will never get a good ranking on google... if I do not remove my welcome page. Do you think that's normal?
Dear Vivien,
you need to set your welcome page keywords/description in step 1.
If you have added a welcome page to your project, you go into step 1 - general settings - and add ''website description'' and ''website keywords''. This will be the description of your homepage and welcome page. If you wish to have a different description/keyword in your homepage, simply go into step 2 - sitemap creation -highlight the homepage and change the page level/properties by adding a different description/keyword. You do not have to remove your welcome page! Please try and let me know!
