Can't Send Large Email Attachments  en

I am currently using WSX5 Version 8.0.16 and have created an email form with an attachment field.  As long as the attached file is 1MB or smaller, it works.  Anything larger (I need an average of 5MB for attachment files) and the email goes through correctly with the attachment name and file type showing, but the attachment has no data in it now and cannot be opened.  I checked with my host provider and I am allowed 1GB minimum to receive and move files.  I have tried emailing from one of our normal contact email links and attaching the same file, and the large files go through just fine.  I only have a problem with the large attachments when using the WSX5 email form I created within the page.

I am allowed 1GB maximum, but I just tweaked the .ini file on our host server to allow 8MB and it works!  Thanks for the responses!

Generally they can be zipped with a program such as win-zip. If that doesn't break it down small enough, try using a program such as winrar which breaks it down into smaller, specified sizes.
Edit the attachtment or use a website that allows you to send bigger files to people. It may host the file for a week and gives you a link for it that you can send to the people you need to.
For personal use, there are free service like yousendit.com which allow users to send big files.
For corporate users who require secured transfer of big files using email and integration with their email systerm, few solution to consider are accellion.com and justattach.com
