PayPal language issue  en

Hi Wizkids,
I just purchased X5 10 and set up PayPal as a payment method. I have several languages. Everything works fine but after clicking the "Buy Now" button in step 4 it redirects to the German version of PayPal. This is ok for the German part of my website but not for English and other languages. My PayPal account is registered in Germany though and I've just contacted PayPal to see if this could be the problem. I'm waiting for a reply now.

Question: Is there any option to define to where the "Buy Now" button redirects? Any input is appreciated.

Thanks in advance from a newbie :)

Can anyone tell me in which file the code for the "Buy Now" button in step 4 is generated?
I would really appreciate your help!

I start enjoying talking to myself Wink

I've read a lot in the meantime and this seems to be a problem for some people not only limited to this software.
Question: Some solutions I found are suggesting forcing PayPal to redirect to a certain language by adding a code like <input type="hidden" name="lc" value="US">

Is this basically possible to add it in the code from the xcard5.js Payment Data in webesiteX5 v10?

If yes, how should the additional code look like and where exactly do I have to integrate that code in the xcard5.js?

Hello,

The language of paypal can depend on various setting. Instead of adding code in the program files you can also use the custom code payment and add there the paypal code with the code you want so it is not changed with every update like in the picture.

Please feel free to write back if you need more information.

Hi Claudio,

Thanks for your reply. Do you mean to insert the code for the buttons you can create on the PayPal site? Will this still work with the form, quantities, shipping by weight, etc?
However, I paid a coder since I didn't get a reply from you (well, I have one now. I should be more patient...) and from PayPal. It solved my problem and I can define the PayPal checkout landing page for every language I add.

Hello,

Yes I mean the code you can create on paypal for the payments. WebSite X5 sends to paypal or any other payment form only the price and the order number which can be added with [PRICE] and [ORDER_NO] as variables in the custom code.

Please feel free to write back if you need more information.
