I had to publish the entry in the blog with that problem. Te picture is alone in the middle and ypu read nothing if ypu do not scroll dow.If there is an option to aligne the images left/right of the text it should work.

What you are going to see is the one I finally upload because the others did not work. I use indistinctilly Firefox or Explorer.

I will make again the work to change the picture and capture the image...

I have tried to upload the attachment for seven times. This is the answer:

excuse me for making you wait and thank you for the info you have posted. First of all, I can see the image in your blog...please look at the attached screenshot.

What version of IE are you using? Is your Flash up to date? Please try to download it with IE.

Futhermore, the 500 Internal Server Error error depends on your server, have you considered changing it?We can offer you one year with one. com or I can suggest other free servers that you can use use which support PHP.

Samantha, really I am desperate. Maybe I do not explain my self in english as fine as I would like but, have you read my writings some post above? OF COURSE you see the image correctly because I quited putting the text aside that is what I wanted to do. Like I have been forced to do with many of the problems I am finding with the program. If I put the text ASIDE what you see is the screenshot I attached. If you put the image IN LINE you can see the image with no problem and this is the one actually in my web to avoid the empty box with the red cross.

I copy/paste the first entry:

"When I write a new entry in the blog and insert an image, if I do it with html it does not recognize the sentence (yes, I have pressed the [</>] box), and I have to download it from my PC.

And when I insert the image from my PC, if I choose the option to aligne text to the right or the left of the image, in preview the image is not seen [I can asure you now that it is not seen either when uploaded nor in Firefox or Explorer].  (no picture, just an empty box with a little red cross).

I can only see the image if I aligne it with the text."

That is what I finally did, and that is what you, and I and everyone else can see. No need a screenshot for that

And the "the 500 Internal Server Error" ocurs HERE IN THE INCOMEDIA PAGE every time I tried to attache the screenshot. Nothing to do with my page or my server.

I tried to do everything  you described with the beta version of Evo 9 and I do not have any kind of error, the pictures are displayed perfectly. I created a blog with the  9.0.3 1722 version, posted an image and added some text.

Could you please try to create a new project and do the same thing? Please update me!

I do not now what ypu mean by testing with the Beta version. I already downloaded the last refresment of the X9 and my web is done qith this new version. Is that the Beta version or there is another one?

Ok, a second version. But I understand that is still in Beta fase, not the final version... Uf, well, I will download but I do not really like to work with not yet aproved versions...

I have to create a new project for Samantha and another for Ricardo. One with the beta version and the other not with the Beta version. I have an old project I could use developed under V8. Can I use this one or I have to create another?

I may have to contract a secretary to do my regular job...

Sorry, another question, is the beta version in spanish? I have read the instructions and i find it complicated to switch from de beta to the full version.

We create the Beta release of the update for you to test it because if you have problems we try to solve them in the release. If you don't test them we can not understand if your issue is solved.

I understand you created new projects, what is the result?

I created a new project but as I wrote to Ricardo I do not know how to upload without a new domain which I do not have, and I cannot upload a nearly empty project with my domain. I do not know how to make the test.

What I can do is to send the new project. I created a blog and there are tu articles. Both have the same image. One is aligned left to the text and you cannot see it, and the other one is in line with the text and it can be seen.

You did not tell me if the Beta is Spanish. I have to many problems following the intructions in my langague to adventure my self in following it in english.

SORRY I have tried to attache the project but it sais "The filetype you are attempting to upload is not allowed." and also it has 1158kB and it is only allowd 1024.

first thing: you need to delete your old website from your server and upload your new one. You will be able to put your old project back once we have finished.

You need to download the Beta version that you can find in the following post http://answers.websitex5.com/post/6755 and yes you can install it in spanish.

You do not have to send us your project, you need to see if the problem is fixed with the beta version. Please create a new project, add the blog, add a post to the blog with image+text and test it/upload it. If you can see the image correctly the problem is fixed.

I cannot upload a project without information under my name. It is my work, my profile, the place where publishers go in to see who I am and what they can expect from my writing, and my readers go in to be updated. I cannot upload a fake web just to test the images and leave it there to see what happens, and I cannot create a whole new project as the one I already have. Do you know how many days I have spent in my site? Because I understand that you are meaning (like Riccardo) to upload a brand new thing, not a duplicate from the old one, are you?

May be during the late night and just for some minutes, I could, but I have to test also the guestbook and that will take longer.

If it is in spanish I will try to download. I hope to be able to do it myself as I am not very keen in desintallation and installation

Don't upload anything, it doesn't matter. What I need you to do is:

• download the Beta version

• open a new project
• add the blog
• create 1post in the blog
• add an image and text to the post as you are trying to do
• test it.

I did the same thing and I did not have problems. Please do this when you can and let me know what happens.

There are to entries: Prueba 1 (with the image alignied left with the text) and Prueba 2 (with the image in the same line as the text) The image is the same in both.

I will try with the Beta if I find time to do it and tell you the result

Sorry Samantha. New post in my blog, again the same problem. In preview it looks perfect with the image aligned to the left of the text and the text sorruonding the image, but after uploading the image position is in line with the text and it looks awfull.

Not solved at all.

Please check that you have typed in your text correctly, that there are no spaces above your text and adjust the text object in your grid. Please adjust the ''cell margins'' and make sure that the top margin is set to zero (custom margins).

Do you mean the margin of the boxes on the right (the ones with the past entries, gadgets and so on)? Because I do not know any other margins in the BLOG.

And there are no spaces on top. The preview looks perfect.

I am really anoied. Now, not only images are out of place and do not stay like in review (http://www.martaquerol.es/blog/index.php?id=8hm0gs99), but also the format of the text (colour of the font) is not the ones selected. After several trials during all the week end, deleting, inserting again, changging the format of the image an so on, I manage (do not ask me how because I do not know) to have the blog in conditions. It is not affordable for me in time the way the blog is working and make so many experiment till it looks tiddy.

I already made as you asked (CTRL+Preview). As I already explained in another post/problem, my blog is not linkable to any other blog of my friends, and it always appears the welcome page insted of the blog. Has it something to do with what ypu are saying about CSS?

Samantha, I do not know if you are still following his issue.

Every time I upload a new post with images aside I face the same problems. No solution.

I have made so many different trials, changes, useless work, I am loosin so many hours from my time that I am really upset. With evo 8 I did not have that problem (others, but not this one), and at the beggening of evo9 neither.

Why is it so difficult to have a blog in condition? This is not a free web site software, we pay for it and we expect to have things fixed in a reasonable time and I choose X5 because it did include a blog.

I post EVERY WEEK and EVERY WEEK since long ago I have to face the same problems witho no definitive answers but what we call in spain "marear la perdiz". "Do this, try that, have you done this?" Really incredible.

First images dessapear, now they do not stay in place. Beautiful preveiw for nothing

Unfortunately I have to suggest possible solutions because I can not work on your project or on your computer therefore I can not go directly to the point. As you can see in the screenshot I have attached, your Blog looks perfect to me that is why I ask questions. Do you still need help?

Dear Samantha, my blog looks well because I make the same things dozens of times and I spend the weekend trying possible solutions on my own. Deleting images and inserting them again, changing the position of the picture to different places, uploading only the blog (every time I change something), uploding the whole page instead of only the blog (that seems to be the solution; next time I will test) and loosing many hours because I cannot wait to have an answer here. I know it has been Xmas time, but I am affording this problems more than a month. 

Is it solved? I do not know. In this week's post I will see what happens, if it uploads like in preview or it uploads as an uglly and little worked page.
