10.0.04.28 Email Field Description Lost!  en

I have been working on setting up and testing an email form, but since the update to 10.0.4.28 on Tuesday the field description is missing on mouse roll-over, it just shows as "NULL" Surprised (Email Form Object - Insert Field - Options - Field description)

I have deleted some fields and set up new ones but no luck. They worked fine in version xx.x.x.24.

Any ideas please!

Hello Gary,

Please try to download the attachment to the post and then unzip it. Then open following path in your computer:

C:\Program Files\WebSite X5 v10 - Evolution\Res

Copy the file in this folder and then check if the issue is still present.

Please keep me updated.

Hello Claudio,

I replaced the existing file with the one from the attachment but the problem still exists. I even tried adding a couple of new fields and field descriptions as a test.

Hello Gary,

Can you please try with a new project to see if the issue is also there still present?

The file should fix the issue and I tested it to see if it is working.

Many thanks!

Hi Claudio

You are correct it works in a new project; however, does that mean I have to redo my entire project again? Frown I have tried a new page in my existing proiject to test out email but it still shows up as "null".

Hi Claudio

This is a follow up to above post.  Although the project had the field description problem, I did a  back up two days ago; so I thought I would try this. I deleted the entire working project from WebSite x5, then imported the backed up copy to test out and found the field description then worked. Hope this is of some help to others!

Thanks for your help as well.

Gary.
