Problem with the header picture when importing from version 9 to 10.  en

Author: Tom E.

Problem with the header picture when importing from version 9 to 10.

When I import my website from version 9 - 10, my header picture is replaced by a template picture that I can't remove.

In version 10 .... the option where I can change the header picture is GONE!?

How do I replace a template header picture with my own picture in version 10?

The box where to browse files is not there anymore!?

Hello Tom,

Please try to update your Version 9 to the latest release and then export the project again to import it in Version 10.

To change header image in Version 10 click on the template, in the template selection, and then press on the right menu DUPLICATE. It will create a copy of the template which with a doubleclick can be edited in the Custom Template Editor and so you can change the Image.

Please feel free to write back if you need more information.

I had problems galore after buying into v10. Have needed to go back to v9 to save and continue seeing web site as was. Why are there so many faults when using v10. Was it issued prematurely? PLEASE get the faults rectified before taking our money off us. I have often recommended your software in the past, but not anymore.

Sorry, but I feel I have been conned!

Hi Howard,

What faults are you experiencing in particular?  Perhaps we can help you with the issues.

As with any new software release there seem to have been some teething troubles in the early versions of v10, but these appear to be getting ironed out with support and updates.

Personally I feel the shift from v9 to v10 is most problematic when trying to import projects, as there are often tweaks and alterations needed to v9 designs when they are brought into v10.  Is this happening in your own case?

Hello Tom, I'm sorry for my English.
I agree with you about the problems between V9 and V10.
I have solved many problems with loss of time.
My site is not particularly elaborate, but I had to redo the template to resume the old one, and all the transitions.
Now I still have other problems (see post 22/05/2013 - entitled "Problemi con i browser" - in Italian), not yet resolved.
I share your concerns and I think that a new version should be fully compatible with the previous one.
