I have inserted a FLV file on my website. When viewed in Chrome or Internet Explorer, I get a link to www.websitex5.com. When viewed in Firefox, the movie plays correctly.

Thanks...  I am using Chrome and that particular page loads with no issues on my machine, and the movies play correctly.  Not sure what the matter can be?

Sounds like it could be a missing plug-in problem?

Are you sure the link is to www.websitex5.com?

I don't think I missing any plug-ins. I have Adobe Flash player installed. I attach a snapshot showing what I get in Chrome instead of the correct movie. When I click on it, I  am transferred to http://www.websitex5.com/en/index.php

I have now uploaded the complete website again, and the problem has disappeared. It now works correctly. I am still wondering how there can be an error situation which creates a link to your website in some browsers, while other browsers work correctly.

As I mentioned in my previous post, your website displayed correctly in my own Chrome browser yesterday before you had reuploaded the site, so it looks like it was a local issue confined to your own machine?

I had the problem on two of my PCs. Now it is correct without any further changes than uploading the whole website again. It is clear that there was a problem with a FLV file. WebsiteX5 crashed when I tried to correct it. It even crashed as soon as the element was selected in Step 3 Page Creation as long as the Preview tick box was marked. After removing the mark, I was able to select and then delete the faulty element and reinstall it. It was after this procedure that the website was correct again.

So the problem remains a mystery. But anyway it is solved.
