After I have installed the latest update, I could not upload my files, as my computer could not connect to your server.

Please check if you can login in your ftp server with the same data with another ftp client like filezilla. If it's also not working, then check if the connection data is correct or if the hosting provider has changed some settings.
If it works with another ftp client, check that the antivirus/firewall is not blocking the program.
