Migration of Server

The server that I am using has migrated to a new server and I have been advised to update the new IP address in order to connect to this new server - they have supplied this new IP address to me but the question is....where do I put it?
The server provider has already migrated my email accounts and they work fine but clearly I cannot yet make any changes to the website without updating the connection within WebsiteX5.

Hi Phil,
I think you mean a new FTP address as opposed to IP address, as a different IP address wouldn't really have any bearing on your use of Website X5.
But on moving to a new server you definitely would require to edit your FTP details. These can be edited in Step 5 Export - Upload the Website to Internet - Session Profile
You will need to enter your new FTP address, username and password - plus you may also have to adjust any entry in the 'Destination folder' field on the right hand side, to ensure your Website X5 files are uploaded to the correct folder on your server.

Must have been some kind of minor problem with the server as by simply deleting password and entering it again, everything works okay - time to get writing my blog again!
