Font not showing

I have a font which doesn't show in the font list in text object. My headline font - Amaranth - does not show up in the drop down list when I am in the text object editor. It shows up in Word and Dreamweaver etc.
I am running version 10 - Windows 7 Pro 64 bit

Having to work round it by using a graphic at the moment.
Hello Duncan,
try to reinstall the font to see if then it's visible. You need to keep in mind that this font will only be visible if seen on a computer were it's also installed otherwise it will appear the default font or if the browser supports the use of local fonts.
If you want to use fonts that are not standard available on browsers I would suggest you to use a webfont version so it will be visible on all browsers, without the need to install the font on the computer.

Good thinking Claudio. Probably better to use a graphic then as I only need it for one or two focal bits of text.
