Hi. I have created a video gallery. Though, i need to replace the default "play" thumbnails with custom images. How can i do that?

Hello Nick,

You first need to create an appropriate thumbnail for each of your videos.  This has to be done with third party software: it's not a feature incorporated in WebSite X5 itself.  Here's an example of the sort of software you could use:

Having created your thumbnails you then use them to populate the 'List' tab of the Gallery Object (NB: don't add your video files directly to the list or the process will not work correctly...  only add the custom thumbnails which you have just generated)

Now highlight each thumbnail in the 'Image File Name' column in turn (by clicking once on it to make it turn blue)  -  then click on 'Link' in the 'Options' section on the right-hand side.  In the pop-up screen which opens select 'File or URL with ShowBox' and enter the path to the relevant video file, using either the 'Local' or 'Internet' fields as appropriate.

Click 'OK' back through the screens to save your settings.
