I downloaded your demo. I am comparing your product with your other competitors. However, I could not find the following features on the demo or your website.  Do you have these features?

Counter, Calendar, Newsletter, Surveys

1. If so, please show me where to find it.

2. If not, how soon will you have them added?

3. If neither 1 or 2, can you tell me how I can add these features?

Thanks

hi

No website x5 do not have these built into he software, but they can be added quite easily b adding a simple piece of code, for newsletters you can use mailchimp and just embed the subscription box code o your site, for calender you can embed google calender into your site, for the the counter you can google counters and plenty of widgets ot there you can embed into your site, if you need any help let me know.

Thanks

Thanks for your response.  For someone like me who knows nothing about coding, I was looking at these kinds of products because it advertises "no progamming needed".  To those who know coding, this must be a simple process, but for the ones like me - a complex task.

I am evaluating which one to purchase from amongst them that say you do not have to learn HTML or CSS to build websites.

So I was just wondering and curious why Incomedia cannot just include all these features if the codes are easy to write.  That way, we, the customers will feel rest assured that every site will be a clean build.

Other competitors do have some features that WX5 do not have.  I also discovered from earlier postings here from almost 2 years back that they have asked for these features.

So far, I like presentation, feel, appearance and style of WX5.  Their process to build a website seems easy and logical to follow.  The other ones out there have more features and a steeper learning curve.

I hope Incomedia would reconsider these requests and include these features.  This will put them much ahead of the game.

Thank you again.

Hello Sam,

Evolution 10 incorporates a page counter.  You can access it in Step 3 Page Creation...  it's one of the HTML/Widget objects.

Kind regards,

Paul

Thank you Jamie for your offer, I will continue to evaluate these programs and definitely keep you in mind.

Thank you Paul, hope the other features will be added in the future.

This leads to another question.  Not sure if I should create a new post.

Can a website created from another program be imported to Website X5 and be worked on as if that project was started in WX5?  (I saw an Import button in Project Selection.)

Will I lose any features or functionality?  If so, can some one tell me how?

The Import function will only accept files in IWZIP format, which is the bespoke compressed format that Incomedia uses for WebSite X5 projects.  So unfortunately you would not be able to import a website which was built using another software.

Version 10 is able to import projects created in version 9, but not those of version 8 or lower.  These must first be upgraded to v9 format.

Hope this helps in some way.

Kind regards,

Paul
