I have several websites that have contact forms and when the info is delivered to my inbox it is not working properly. Previously it has been fine but recently changed although I have not updated the websites. When I receive an email, I get this at the top: Message-ID: X-Mailer: WebSiteX5 Mailer MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="a012dd76abe3ef9a19fcfabef2f4ac60_alt" Date: Tue, 29 Nov 2011 19:59:27 +0000 (GMT) --a012dd76abe3ef9a19fcfabef2f4ac60_alt Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit and at the bottom: --a012dd76abe3ef9a19fcfabef2f4ac60_alt Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit tr>
tr>Name:sAddress:Email:***Phone:Details of enquiry:kk --a012dd76abe3ef9a19fcfabef2f4ac60_alt--

Hello Ian,

Did you try to use a different email script? More script types are available in the software's preferences (accessible via the main menu when the software is started). Seems that your server is not able anymore to send emails in HTML format. Did you already try to contact your hosting provider?

Thank you!

I'm not sure I follow what you mean about the scripts.  I have changed the page to a PHP page but the same happens.  I have also emailed my hosting company to check that there have been no changes on their server.  I am still on V8 if that makes any difference.

The error code is:

X-Mailer: WebSiteX5 Mailer

MIME-Version: 1.0

Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="bb2e51091a487475e397d616935b70b7_alt"

Date: Mon,  5 Dec 2011 07:59:38 +0000 (GMT)

--bb2e51091a487475e397d616935b70b7_alt

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

Thanks

I have received the following response from my hosting company:

I can confirm we have not made any recent patches or updates that would or should cause the issue you are experiencing.

Having spoken to a colleague about the issue itself, the immediate suggestion was to check if there was HTML::MIME or smilar instruction(dependant on the language) within the code. This is worth feeding back to the developers as a check point.

Has there been any recent updates or patches to code they have made on your behalf?

I will leave this ticket open/pending until you can update us with the developers response. In the meantime, if we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Hi Ian,

The normal script uses both the text/html and the text/plain MIME type. If you're using the old V8 version, I suggest you to read this post: http://answers.websitex5.com/post/7258
