Problem adding text to my pages.

Hello, I have a problem while creating my pages. When I add the photo everything is fine and when I click the preview button the photo is there. The TEXT is my problem. I drag the text icon into the current page and go through all the motions, the text displays on the small preview box to the right, BUT.... When i click on preview link to see my actual page there's NO text at all! this is driving me crazy!!! please help. and thanks in advance!

What version x5 do you use? What kind of box are you edditing in?
In a normal text box you don't need to drag the text icon.
What colour have you set the text to? If it is black for example, and you have a black background, the text will be invisible (or white text on white background).
