Not sure if my original post happened. But here I go again. Template bought many years ago but basically abandoned the website. Would like to see if I can use it now but not sure how to transfer the template from old PC to my Mac (Mac OSX version 10.7.5) and what application to use to open the template up. Also looking to resurrect password which was forgotten but may be related to the email my wife used when purchasing the template (***)

Hi Robert, I didn't see your original post but will try to answer your queries if possible. I need a lot more information to help with this problem though.

I am assuming that you owned an early version of Website X5 on your PC. Is the "template" you mention something that came with the program or did you purchase one from Incomedia?

Did the site ever go "live" on the internet, or was it just something you were working on in the computer?

Here are the problems you face: If it was an old version of WebsiteX5 (Version 7 or 8) then if you buy a copy of the latest version your file won't be able to be opened directly. You can download your old version from Incomedia onto your computer if you can sort out the password situation (support will usually get this sorted quickly) but because it is a Mac you will need to run Bootcamp or similar, as there is no native version of WebsiteX5 for OSX.

Do you have the files for your old site still on your old computer? If not, there is no way that you will be able to resurrect it.

So, if you can answer the above questions, we will see what can be done. There are some very helpful users who use this forum.
