Adding robot.txt and ror.xml files

Hi, I have x5 evolution 9. My SEO wants me to add two files to the website. A robot.txt and a ror.xml file. Is this possible within the application? If so can you please tell me how. If not, is this something that should be added externally? If so, what happens when I update the site (using the export function) – would it over right anything external. Thanks

If you have two files you wish to add to your website. Then you could use ftp program like filezilla. You can add the files to your webserver where your site is as well.
There will be no changes to site itself, nothing will be ovewritten.
