I have gone through the button shopping cart for e-commerce product settings adjusted via the Options tab. I filled in the main list options.
If I this adjustment view via the preview it looks good. Everything is shown as desired. Then I'm going to upload everything and expect to see a correct display. Unfortunately this is not the case. The changes were not included!
The fields description and options are not displayed after upload as in the preview.
Who can help me???

Hello Jan,
Please refresh your browser cache by holding down the 'CTRL' key as you reload the page in your browser.
Let us know if you can then view the modified page.
This is not a fault... browsers store accessed pages in their cache to speed up the browsing experience. You need to clear the cache after each upload to the web in order to be guaranteed that you are viewing the most recent edition of each page.
Kind regards,
Paul

Paul,
It doesn't work. I also cleared the cache via Internet Options (advanced)
Kind regards,
Jan
Can you post a link to your website? That would be helpful.
Can you also try holding down the 'CTRL' key whilst entering the preview within X5, then exiting the preview and reuploading your entire project to the server?
Many thanks,
Paul

Hello Jan,
Please update your software to the latest release (10.1.0.39) if you haven't already done so, then do a full refresh to your server:
http://answers.websitex5.com/post/74581
Your source code is showing that your pages were built with version 10.1.0.38 - did you do a full 'CTRL' preview/refresh and upload after having updated to 10.1.0.39?
If the issue persists having done that then we will ask Claudio from Incomedia for his input.
Kind regards,
Paul

I updated update my software to the latest release and I did a full 'CTRL' preview/refresh and uploading again but it doesn't works.
I advise that we wait for Claudio to respond. The issue is very strange as the shopping cart page still shows up as version Evolution 10.1.0.38, yet the home page appears to have been created with Professional 10.1.0.39? There seems to be a mixture of files within the project. A full purge and refresh of the files on the server should have cured this after importing the project from Evolution.
Thanks for your patience whilst we wait on Claudio's reply.
Best regards,
Paul

Okay, hopefully, Claudio has the solution.
The relevant file is created with EvolutionX5. The updated file with Professional10 Everything should be the same?
Best regards,
Jan.

May be the cause of my problem has to do with the fact that I've made the site with WebSite X 5 Evolution?
Hello Jan,
Please try to remove all content online on the hosting server and then upload again to whole project because like Paul noticed the files are mixed and there are older files for the cart.
Once done please let me know so I can check it.
Many thanks!

Claudio,
It doesn't works.
I send you an email with the project file (the file with e-commerce .IWZIP extension) as attachment to file@answers.websitex5.com. using as Subject “Post problem with e-commerce per Claudio D.” so you can see what is not working.
Hello Jan,
I downloaded the project and tested it.
You need to remove following codes in step 1 - Expert - since the keywords tag is duplicated since the program adds it automatically and in the HEAD addingthe <p> and <h1> tags can lead to not correc code:
<meta name="Keywords" content="Duikteamechtsusteren, Duikteam, Echt, Susteren, Boschmolenplas, vereniging, duiken susteren, duiken echt, limburg, duikopleiding, opleiding, PADI duikopleiding, duiken Bandert Echt, duiken bandert echt" />
<p><h1 align="center">Klik op het logo om door te gaan.</h1></p>
Then remove also the code you added after closing the body tag:
<div id="footer">
<FONT COLOR="White"</FONT>
<p><center>disclaimer | copyright Duikteam Echt-Susteren </div></center></p>
This code needs to be in the body tag and not outside.
For the ecommerce as test then choose to export the content to disk and then use an ftp program like filezilla to upload all content with filezilla online and test if it appears correctly. If it works then the next uploads can be done with the program.
Many thanks!

Hello Jan,
Please try to remove the emails you added to receive the orders from "send to email" and "send to database" and then add only one email and check if the order is sent.
If it works add then the second email and check again.

Claudio HELP.
I have made the item merchandising again and uploaded but now... nothing works. What am I doing wrong? What is not good? I am desperate of it.
I send another .IWZIP with the changes I made.
Hello Jan,
I tested your project on 2 servers and in both the order was sent correctly.
What exactly happens when you send an order?
Did you contact your hostign provider to ask if there are any issues on the server with PHP and the mail() function?
Many thanks!

Once done open the project again and press CTRL while you start the preview and then export the complete project again to check if after the orders can be sent.

Hello Jan,
We verified your hosting settinds and we noticed the website wass been exported in the wrong folder and this is way it never worked.
you need to export the project in
domains/duikteamchtsusteren.nl
and then all changes are visible and the new website will work correctly while sending the orders.
Many thanks!
