Hello Bryan,

Does it happens also with a new project or with a specific one?

If it happens also with a new project pleaee try to open the preferences of the program and then reduce the max simultaneous processes from 10 to 1 and check again.

If it happens with a specific project, can you please tell me what objects you added like flash or pdf files as example?

Many thanks!

Hi Claudio

Thanks for your reply. Firstly I would like to say, this is fantastic software, I have used evolution 9 for many projects and just upgraded to Pro 10 and am loving the new features.

The crash problem usually occurs on various projects after changing video size and then previewing. It will crash when you close the preview, (thankfully the project is saved when you preview )

Thanks

Hello Bryan,

Are the video files displayed correctly?

Please try to open the preferences of the program when you start it and then change the number of max simultaneous processes from 10 to 1 and then check if the same issue happens again.

Please keep me updated.

The video files are displayed correctly in evo 9 but not in pro 10 - videos have a black border around them that I can not seem to resize correctly to fill the cell?

Thanks

Hello Bryan,

Does changing the max simultaneous processes helped to stop the crashes?

For the video file try to follow the advice here:

http://answers.websitex5.com/post/72788

and then install also the Flash Player Plugin by opening the preview browser and then visit following link with it to install the plugin also if it writes the plugin is already present:

http://get2.adobe.com/flashplayer/?fpchrome

After you need to close the preview and test the video files.

Many thanks!

Hi Claudio

Yes the crashes are still happening after the changes suggested. As for the video display issue, I am using mp4 video files, they display fine in evo 9 but not in pro 10?

Hello Bryan,

Try to download the attachment and then unzip it and move the Extensions folder in the installation folder of the program:

C:\Program Files\WebSite X5 v10 - Professional

Once done try also to reinstall the .NET framework 4 by following these steps:

Uninstall the .NET Framework 4.0 from your computer and then use following cleanup tool to remove the remaining files:

http://cid-27e6a35d1a492af7.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Blog_Tools/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip

Once the program has done reinstall the .NET Framework by downloading it from following link:

Please keep me updated.
