Upgrade price + projects on webserver 
Author: Henrik T.1. please state upgrade price for the X10 PRO (I have version 8, 9 and 10). I don't need webhotel, have already One.com. I can see that I have to pay 199USD appr. 1500DKK (pretty steep price) for a normal license - but I just wan't to upgrade, not buying a full license.
(Have jus today received an upgrade price from Serif.com on the Webplus X7, their upgrade price seems fair - a third of the price I have to pay for a professional version of X10: "As a WebPlus owner, you can upgrade to WebPlus X7 (list price DKK 790) for just DKK 479! That’s DKK 311 off the list price when you download today. And that's not all...")
2. Would like to put the Projects files on my webserver to be able to work on a project from different locations. Is it possible?

Hi Henrik - I believe that Version 10 Professional is a seperate programmme, NOT an update from version 10 (otherwise it would be called version 11). There was a special price for users of previous versions to buy the new one (close to 50% off), but that has now ended.

Well if you take away hosting from the PRO version, there's "only" added a few - but important - features. The engine is the exact same I believe - of course with added features. But ok.
I didn't catch your offer.
Please answer:
1. What will the 10PRO cost WITHOUT hosting? It's seems strange to me that I'm forced to buy web-hosting to get the PRO-version? You could eventually offer the PRO version "as a separate programe" without hosting and call it "Upgrade without hosting" or...? Please understand that I don't need hosting as previously mentioned, I already bought hosting when buying the version 8 from you... (yes, I'm one of those rare LOYAL customers... :o)
2. (Repeating my question) Would like to put the Projects files on my webserver to be able to work on a project from different locations. Is it possible?

Hello Henrik,
I will try to answer as clearly as possibile:
1) The hosting is offered free, there is no additional fee for that. If you decide to purchase the program you can use it if you wish, but you do not have to.
We can not offer an upgrade version to WebSite X5 Professional 10 because it is a different edition of the program as Wayne kindly pointed out.
2) You can if you wish! Once you have finished working on it, you export your project and upload it on your server. Change computer, then download it and import it.
I have to remind you that a single licence of the program gives you the chance to install on two computers only.

I know that you are a loyal customer, and I'm very sorry but the special offer is not valid anymore. It lasted until October, 31st. At the moment we have no special offers on WebSite X5 Professional 10.
