How can I make a backup of my project/site with compact 9?  en

My friends, I want to make a backup, so if my computer is damaged, I could restore it.

In the menu "export", there are two options "export website to a disk" and "export the project".

I want to have a copy, but I also want to remain in my computer and not to remove it. So, I am afraid to choose one of the options.

Thank you

You can use both without losing any information.

Use at least export the project, but I suggest do a copy of the website as well.

Copy these to a seperate drive or medium and you will be okey.

The project copy's the website you have made within x5. (so the data you programmed in x5)

The website is the code made from the project to produce the files you need to copy to your webserver. (So this the software for your internet website.)

Hope it's better this way. if not let me know !

I understand. My friend Andre, I am sorry but I will ask you again. After doing copies in a seperate drive, I can continue to work with the original to my computer, can't I?

I am sorry to insist, but I am afraid that if I make a copy, the original will be moved so I can not continue to work with it in my computer.

Thank you again

You can ask as many time's as neded, if I am not clear then let me know. No problem !!!

And yes after you make both copys there will be no change what so ever on your current project in x5.

Nothing is moved, you just make a copy of the files that usally go to internet (export to HD) and make a copy of your project.
