Steinar,

Here you can find an example on how to this:

http://answers.websitex5.com/post/26661

You need to make 2 projects and upload them in seperate folders.

You could ignore the welcome page if you want and create instead a flag or picture with a link to the other folder for both lanquages.

folder en: for englisch

folder standard for norwegian.

set link in banner on both project one set to the norwegian site, the other to the en folder (english site). Do this also on the english site.

Hope it's clear if not let me know.

Hello! Thanks for the reply. I have tried to do as you said, but I do not get this-you may send me a video that tells me-step by step) what I need to do?
Otherwise, a step by step explanation might help me.

I want to address one other thing right away: I sent an inquiry to the sales department asking price in € or $, then all prices I get up in the Turkish lira (I'm in Turkey at the moment) I also wondered about I would get the English version, but was referred to you. I dared not need to buy the new version and new I can just buy it at full price. (Why not post an update to the existing version at a lower price?) Sorry to bring this track now!

Best regards

Steinar

Steiner,

Your second question first;

you can download any lanquage available for x5 from your portal. Click on your picture, goto download section, select a lanquage you prefer, download it, install it and you have the same version of x5 in another lanquage.

About pricing I can't help you but you asked Incomedia so await there answer.

Please try to keep on topic and make for other questions a new post, this helps things to keep clear and it helps other users to keep better track of helpful posts.

Step by step other lanquage on your site:

What you need to keep in mind, it looks all like just 1 site, but in fact these are two totally different site's !
If you want to have this and need to make a change in both languages, you need to do this twice ! and for three languages, yes you guessed, three times!

I used as example a native site already online and a second project / site in English.

1.
Start the original project, (for example homesite this is your native language)
-> duplicate it in page project selection.
-> rename it to a recognisable name (for example homesite_engl)
-> Start editing all text on the homesite_engl project to change it from native to English then save it.

2.
So now you have 2 same projects in two different languages. Next step is set the last made (english) project to internet.
(I assume the original one is there already in the standard folder)
-> go to step 5 upload your site, click next twice, you should be in your standard map of your native language site on your webserver.
-> use third button on top to create a new folder, call this folder engl, step in this folder, upload your site.

Now you have 2 sites online.
your original one: homesite.com
and one for English: homesite.com/engl

3.
Now to set in both project your flags or links to these websites.
I will use a flag for example.

Open your original native project.
-> set a flag of your original native in the banner, link it to the same homesite page if you wish, it's not strictly necessary because you are already there.....
The English flag link goes to the Engl map website, homesite.com/engl.

** NOTE **
Write down the size and place of the flags so you can create exactly the same position and height and wide on to the other project.
You can find these settings directly below your banner.

(click on flag write down the settings, click on other flag, write down the settings)
*********

4.
Do the same on your English project, add the Flags.
(open English project, set flags at same position and height and wide, set link to native language.

5.
Upload them both, your native to your standard folder, your English to the engl folder.

That's it. In five steps as it always is in website x5

Off course it's possible to set the flags immediately and save step 4 and 5 (do them in 1 and 2)
But to create logical steps I separated them on purpose.

** One watchout / tip! **

Keep names on the server and links to them always exactly the same especially watch out for Capitals. Best is to avoid them and create everyting without Capitals. This is also usefull for picture names...
