Hello,

What version of Internet Explorer do you use?

we have try to view the flv to full screen and we haven't of problems. Maybe you try to verify the settings security of your plugin installed and you try to set "settings default" of Internet Explorer. So you should see correctly the flash to full screen.

Hello, I tested this page http://www.senegambiafamily.be/film-over-een-autowrak.html and it seems not working. I mean that the video is not set in full screen and it is always in the same size.

I think it could depend on your FLV video file.... I tested another FLV file and it works. Have you try that?

I use Avid Studio to make a full screen FLV but it seems not to work. When I convert with another tool an AVI file to FLV it works. So the problem is nog X5 but AVID or Pinnacle Studio, but why?

I tested my flash video with other players and it works on full screen. Avid Studio tell me the next things:

How the file plays on your website is not really anything to do with how Avid Studio created it, it will depend on the HTML coding you have used to actually display it on the website, and I am afraid this is not something we can help you with as Avid Studio does not create any HTML coding for the .FLV files it exports.

I was making some tests of this with a freeware flash video player that I have for incorporating into a website and what I see is not so much of a size problem with the website playback, it is the aspect ratio that looks incorrect.

If you have information from Incomedia about this it would be helpful, I can pass that along with my test results to our engineering team for them to look further at.

I reported this problem when we were BETA testing this V9..... Nothing was done because I was probably the only one that tried this function? Dunno!

I use video all the time for my X5 tutorials and I don't use FLV (Flash video format) in X5 a lot only for small presentations that users don't need to see any details.

MP 4 is the best format I've found!! My friends in Hollywood use this on their X5 websites!!

It is a pity really cos I now use Vimeo or YouTube which it is excellent used in V9. The program still has it's little quirks but it is the best on the net at the present using HTML 5!!!

I downloaded the free fwplayer and then used this code to display it in my web browser and it looks OK.
If i press the full screen button in the player it plays full screen with no problem.

<script type='text/javascript' src='jwplayer.js'></script>

<div id='mediaspace'>This text will be replaced</div>

<script type='text/javascript'>
jwplayer('mediaspace').setup({
'flashplayer': 'player.swf',
'file': 'flashvid.flv',
'controlbar': 'bottom',
'width': '1044',
'height': '576',
'stretching': 'fill',
'autostart': 'true',
});
</script>
