Hi there, I'm having two problems. Both are showing that my website formats properly and works well on PC and iPad computers but not on iphones. I'm using a 'fit to screen' image background and it does not look acceptable on iphone but is formatted properly on ipad and pc. I also have drop down menu items which don't appear on my iphone. My website is www.historicedinburghtours.co.uk What do I need to do to get my website showing properly across devices? Many thanks

Hello Forrest, I've checked several x5 sites on a iphone 4s and all the ones that had the width set at the suggested 960 works fine. (Yours at 1000?) What's with the cookie banner at the top? It got in the way several times. You could just state this site uses cookies like most, who even bother to, in the footer in small text. Or in your terms and conditions. Most people are not going to change the default (medium) setting for cookies, including me. I"ll just go somewhere else. You might want to keep your pictures all on one side and text boxes on one side for mobile and tablet scrolling.
Just a few thoughts. Kind Regards. Donald

Thanks Donald,
Always good to get feedback. I'll see what I can do. The cookie thing 'seemed like a good idea at the time' so will take your comments on board.
Do you think the 960 width would solve the template problem I mention?

Nup, made some changes but the template issue is still there. Changes were good ones to make and I've still got some of your suggestions to implement so it wasn't a waste of time.
Thanks
Forrest, just checked your site with iphone 4S and at&t DSL. All appeared OK including the drop downs menu buttons at the top. The changes you made helped. Best regards. Donald
