I have a couple of PDF files that I want my users to download from my website. How do I insert the PDF files for download?

You can create a link on any text in an text object. Use the file/url option. choose your pdf. that's is.
It's also possible from your menu use in that case new level, goto properties and use the link option, the rest is the same as above.
