Should I upgrade to version 10?  en

I'v learned from the upgrade from version 8 to 9: a complete disaster. A lot of time, frustration and mailing was necessary to learn the templates were completely incompatible. In the end I was forced to rebuild the entire website. It can be nice to upgrade the layout of the website from tiome to time, but I would like to choose when. And not be forced by and upgrade.

So the big question here is: will this happen again when I upgrade to version 10? Do I need to rebuild the website with the new version 10 templates? In the mail concerning the upgrade it states: "Less work! Export your Evolution 9 website and import it into WebSite X5 Evolution 10. All your original contents will still be there, with new graphic templates to choose from and all the new features of the latest version to enhance your website and publish a stunning new version online.".

If I'm correct I do need to rebuild the website. Please, tell me I'm wrong...?
Thanks.

It's difficult to say what happens.....

To be honest there where way less problems with templates then on other version upgrades ( I had none), but in V8 where the whole template's where changed it gave more trouble.

Why not try the demo? Have you checked the update guide?

Both can give you a good idea without buying it.

Hello P!
If you purchase an upgrade, then convert your project from your old version to your new, you will always have to recheck and change little things in it. The program changed a lot from WebSite X5 Evolution 8 to WebSite X5 Evolution 9 (in coding).

I guess that now you will have to adjust little things as always but you definitely do not have to rebuild the entire project.
I hope this helps!
Please feel free to write back if you have anymore questions!
