I'm using a store template and have made a copy of it to edit, but I don't seem to be able to edit the menu items, the buttons, background color or what's written on them. What am I missing? I can find how to edit most evrything else, but not the menu area.

ok Ive done that. Here is the page I'm working on http://thejoyofsewing.com/thejoyofsewing.html Where the menu items are listed under the graphics, if I select any other button size, only a partial button shows. Also, see the black behind the home button? I can't get rid of that or the background of all the menu items, or change the color? Thanks for your help

Are you using an image for the menu bar, if so you need to either make it longer or make the menu size smaller.

its just one of the buttons you canpick from the ones available, I can only use that one, even if I make it longer, it cuts it off. But what I really want to do is get rid of the color behind the buttons and the black behimd the home button

I want the menu background to be the same color as the background of the page, the purple color. Also how do I change what it says on the buttons?
Go into edit template and change the colour behind the menu bar.
