I have that same problem!

You can't import v8 to v10 it's not compatible as both versions are completely different, if you email me you project files, I will convert to v10 for you for free email me at info@x5tuts dot com

in v8, images are not being attached to your project file, you need to send them seperatly! if you have tables in your website, more than likly they will not being converted currectly to v9! v9 to v10 has no problem at all, but v8 to v9 is a little bit tricky.
