Protecting a menu-item

As an addition to post 25603 (http://answers.websitex5.com/post/25603) "Protect a menu-item" I have a question.
Claudio N. (Incomedia) gives a solution, but using this method only one page (the first one) is possible. The other pages are not visible.
Is there a solution for this problem?

Als je het laatste stukje uitvoert;
" 5. Activate a page menu to allow the navigation in the private area. "
In advanced settings / page menu. en dit aanvinkt, krijg je een klein menu aan de linkerkant voor ja resterende pagina's.
