Changing PHP Version at Hosting Server

If the provider is changing the PHP Version at the hosting plattform, do I need to update the X5 and are there any costs for update if yes?
Until today I used antother software which no more longer could be used from Data Becker and I had to buy every time other upgrades if the hosting provider changes PHP...!

No, x5 is compatible with all php versions, you do don't need to change anything.
for upgrading yourx5 to new version, ofc you have to pay but for updates that being released for the same version, no.
