Dear Friends

I have a PDF file that contains press cuttings. I would like to display it on a webpage using X5 Evolution PRO. How do I do that (without having to capture the PDF file as an image)?

Note that I do not want to setup file to be downloaded. Just to display its contents.

Thanks

Akram

Anthony: I must be doing something wrong.

1) On a new page, I added the "HTML and Widgets" object.

2) I double clicked it and it asked for an "internet file" which I do not have. Mine are local.

3) I used the "experts" tab and pointed to a PDF file on my PC. The previewed page showed blank.

No luck.

Question: how can I store files in my hosted folder using X5 without showing them as downloadable on a page. Would this solve the problem?

Thanks for your help.

Akram

Hello.

You want that a PDF file looks the same as a picture?

Or you mean when you touch on the PDF file you will see the document with no download

Akram, when is asking for internet location, put this line www.yoursitename.com/files/yourpdffilename.pdf

then in expert tab, add your pdf and coose a folder name for your file, your folder name would be files.

upload your files to the internet, then when you test the page localy, it can show your pdf file over there in orther for you to set the proper height for your html object.
