Imsearch.php  en

Remark about a problem:

imsearch.php doesn't work in Opera browser 64 bit.

I've tried it with opera 32 bit and it functioned.

It worked with all kind of browsers but not with opera 64 bit.

It is very slow in the browsers in which it works. Once upon a time I had a search machine installed. Fluid Dynamics. This made an index of the whole site. If one wanted to search a page it was very quick. Since my site was attacked by hackers I had to dismantle everything. Luckily I had a backup of the site on my computer. So I could repair things. But the search machine? That takes a whole day. So I went back to imsearch.php. It's so slow in a big site ... Ph .. Ph..

Best regards, Jacques V

Hello Jaques,

Can you please tell me what exactly happens when you visit the page with opera 64bit?

The speed of the search engine depends on the speed of the hosting server and how many pages and products you added in the project.

Many thanks!

More to the subject ...

The little turning circle at the top of the page (it turns there where normally the favicon.ico is) disappears .... The normal favicon.ico returns. Nothing happens anymore ... while waiting.

Best regards,

The searchfield is emty ... but in a memory-pop-up (if one hovers ) below this field the inserted "search-words" are still visible. While searching the visible page disappears(only the top is visible). After searching the first 3 menu-items return below that top. The favicon.ico is back in place...

Hello Jaques,

I tested the search function in Opera 64bit but the imsearch.php page loaded correctly.

Can you please write me the link of the page you tested to see if it depends on this page?

Many thanks!

I've removed the searchfunction.... I have installed a search engine of my own..

That application is very fast.
