Two different Google web fonts on site  en

I have a project where I am using two different fonts, one for the page titles and another one for the body text.

Both of these fonts are Google web fonts.

In step 1 in the expert section I added these fonts to the HEAD tag to load with the site.

To install Google web fonts for use on my PC I am using the Skyfonts app. This app installs the fonts into its own directory and writes the information into the Windows registry.

I can see these fonts in every app except Website X5 that displays only fonts installed in c:\windows\fonts

Now in step 4 I want to specify the fonts used for headers and for body text, but Website X5 does not give me that option as it is not able to display those fonts.

How do I proceed?

Hi Martin,

You can just copy a font file (.ttf) from a folder into the windows font folder and it will be seen.

Regards,

Mark.

This is exactly what I do not want to do. I am a graphic designer with many different clients and I prefer to manage fonts with the help of a font manager in order to be able to switch sets of fonts on and off by client or project.

To read the system fonts correctly from the Windows registry is not a problem for any other software - MS Office, Adobe CC suite, CorelDraw, etc. (including legacy programs like Ulead GIF animator 5 for example), the only exception is Website X5 Professional that ignores the Windows registry completely (in this case at least) and reads directly from c:\windows\fonts.

Very professional indeed...

Regards

Martin
