Bugs with dynamic content  en

I inserted a dynamic content on one page of a website I created. It's a table. I just copied the original table and pasted. It works ok, mostly, but I've been having two serious problems with the font and paragraph for two cells. Check images.

1) as there are 4 lines in the cell, they show ok when I'm logged in, but if I load the page as a regular user/visitor (not logged), the lines will be written on top of each other, a real mess!

2) if I try any kind of editing as a logged in user, as soon as I press "save", the font will be reduced to "1pt" (I checked the source code). Why is that???

I set the content of the dynamic object to be saved to a file, not a database, does it matter? Why is the font being automatically changed to 1pt when the edition is made directly (not pasted in)?

Hello Evelyne,

The dynamic content object do not have the function to insert a table.

From where you copied it in the object?

Can you please write me the link to the page where you have the dynamic content object?

It can be the pasted code is not correct or after editing it the code is not more corect.

Many thanks!

Hello Evelyne,

Thank you for the link. From where did you copy the table to insert it in the dynamic content object?

I would suggest you to update the content in the same editor and then paste the new table in the dynamic object since it has not the support to create or edit tables at the moment.

Many thanks!

Copied from the original published page created by Website X5. Originally I created it as a table, and I wanted to convert that as a dynamic content to allow owners to update it themselves. I copied the table from the page online (as it's impossible to copy a table from the editing project page) and glued it onto the editing area.

All cells look ok, except the ones with more than one line. No matter what I do to the html code, the lines collapse onto each other. If I try writing directly in the editable area, font is automatically converted to 1pt size after I click "save"

The object may not be prepared to support tables - which is a shame - but it could at least support a piece of html code...

Hello Evelyne,

You can paste html code but since it is not supporting the function, when you edit it online then this is changed. If you want to add a table you need to create it in another object and always edit it there and then paste it. It cannot change the pasted html code.

Many thanks!

I don't mind editing it elsewhere. What is really annoying is that overlapping of lines inside one cell...

This dynamic content is so limited it's almost useless. Sorry, I really love the WebSiteX5, but this specific feature still needs a lot of working to become actually useful... :(

Hello Evelyne,

We are constantly working to add more features to the program so feel free to add suggestion by opening an "idea" post so the developers will take it in consideration.

Many thanks!
