Unable to update  en

Just installed program and it will not let me update. Gives error 406 and says to close programs and try again. I did that, and uninstalled my antivirus program and still will not update. Please help

I purchased WebSite X5 yesterday and downloaded it. The link to validate my email address did not work so it had to be done manually. Now I start the program and am prompted to update the many files and I get Error code 406. Says to make sure all programs are closed and retry. I not only closed all the programs, but uninstalled the antivirus program to no avail. I installed the program on my laptop and am getting the same problem. It will not let me update.
