Special offer ribbon in e-shop

I would like to make use of the ribbons in my e-shop. I am using X5 Pro.
The help says: "Finally, you can add Ribbons: Ribbon Type: you can define rosettes to add to product cards for a "New Product" or a "Special Offer"."
In the product card I do see a checkbox to define the product as new, but I do not see any similar checkbox to define the product as "Special offer".
How do I do it?

Yes, exactly, where do I indicate that the product is on sale?

I do not want to set-up any discounts, I only want to put the "Special offer" ribbon on the product.
The function to add the discount ribbon works only if you add an discount to a product (step4, shopping cart). It is not independent.
I suggest to open an idea post and let developer know about this.
